Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

7 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Nick Tessier!
The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Radbod Blank and Paulsen Ambrosius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dog Iii scores with a decent looking hook.
Dog Iii walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Tessier checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Tessier thinks about the counter body kick.
Tessier throws a wild body kick that Dog Iii sees coming a mile off.
Dog Iii feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Tessier's calf.
Tessier throws a half hearted mid kick.
Dog Iii takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
An inside leg kick from Tessier misses.
Nick Tessier seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Tessier closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Dog Iii's guard.
Tessier throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Dog Iii works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Dog Iii is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Tessier trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Tessier postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.

Dog Iii bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Tessier's guard.
Dog Iii is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Dog Iii controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Tessier looking for subs off his back but Dog Iii has passed one foot through into half guard.
Dog Iii wants to pass the guard but Tessier is defending well.
Dog Iii wants to stand up but Tessier has a hold of him and won't allow it.

Tessier has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Tessier is staying active underneath Dog Iii, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Dog Iii wants to pass the guard but Tessier is defending well.

Tessier is looking to improve his position.
Dog Iii seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Tessier does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Tessier felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.

Tessier has his foot on Dog Iii's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Dog Iii works his way back into a safe position though.

Dog Iii moves nicely into side control.
Tessier tries to bench press Dog Iii off him but Dog Iii keeps the position.
Dog Iii is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Tessier will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.

Tessier had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Dog Iii defends it easily.

Tessier looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Dog Iii is defending well. Tessier quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Dog Iii has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Tessier celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
