Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Froyo Hoyo (ranked 1167 p4p, 133 weight class) and Chosu McGrady (ranked 1704 p4p, 185 weight class). Hoyo's entrance music is Bad to the bone. A fine choice. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice uppercut lands for Hoyo. That snapped McGrady's head back.
Hoyo with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Hoyo jabs McGrady right on the nose. McGrady blinks but takes it well.
McGrady shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Hoyo sprawls well. Hoyo wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. McGrady gets slowly back to his feet.
McGrady feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Hoyos jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

Hoyo fakes high and swings low for a body shot but McGrady manages to avoid it.

McGrady feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

McGrady is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Hoyo is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Hoyo has escaped and now he's on top!

McGrady has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Hoyo can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Hoyo knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for McGrady on the ground.

Horrible takedown attempt by McGrady or perhaps it was just good defense by Hoyo, which made it look bad.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Hoyo is positioning himself well to prevent McGrady advancing to mount.
McGrady takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

During a confident post fight interview, Froyo Hoyo thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
