The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Li looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for To Be Positive!
To Be Positive is trying to escape and get back to his feet.
Li tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Li has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
To Be Positive pushes Li away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Li gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
Li tries to score with some ground and pound. To Be Positive controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.

Li has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Li's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
