Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Butcher takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Butcher throws out a loose jab but Bixby uses good head movement to avoid it.
Butcher throws a hook but Bixby avoids it easily.
Butcher's coach down at Westside Martial Arts was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Butcher's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Butcher's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Bixby connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Butcher scrambles back to his feet.
Bixby throws a leg kick
and Butcher counters with a one-two to the body.
A punch combination from Butcher misses.
Butcher swings for the body but Bixby moves out of range.
Bixby slips under a jab.
Butcher checks a low kick from Bixby.
Bixby lands with an overhand left.
Bixby misses with an uppercut.
Bixby scores with the left hand. Butcher knows he should have avoided that one.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Bixby takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Bixby scores with a decent looking hook.
Nice uppercut lands for Bixby. That snapped Butcher's head back.

Butcher is rocked!

Bixby lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Butcher is still on wobbly legs! Can Bixby finish him?
Bixby cracks Butcher with a left hook right on the temple and Butcher goes down! He's out! Referee! Stop the fight! Bixby lands a few more punches before the dopey ref steps in - hopefully Butcher is OK!
