Whiplash works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Whiplash throws a nice head kick!

It looks like Marcin Vanatta has been cut.

We've been hearing reports that Vanatta has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Whiplash lands a nice leg kick that just misses Vanatta's sensitive parts.
Whiplash fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Vanatta has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Whiplash cracks Vanatta with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Vanatta looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Whiplash finish him?

Oh Vanatta is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Vanatta glances at the clock... BAM! Whiplash nails him with a big right hand! A momentary lapse in concentration sends Vanatta crashing to the mat! The referee steps in and this one is over! Damn, Vanatta is out of it, he thinks the ref is his opponent!
