And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Chief Navajo!
The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Shigeki Fujiwara and Hirohito Nitta.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nasib rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Navajo moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Nasib has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.

Navajo throws a strike but Nasib rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Navajo is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Nasib frees his head nicely. Oh but Navajo has switched to an armbar! Nasib is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!

Chief Navajo is the new featherweight champion!
A relieved looking Chief Navajo thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
Tamid Nasib spoke after the fight, saying 'Thanks for coming..I'll be back'.
