The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Trabowski closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Nui seems a little lost for a moment, as Trabowski dominates the positioning.
Trabowski is chipping away with strikes.

It looks like Rangi Nui has been cut.
Trabowski has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Nui takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Trabowski moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now.
Trabowski cracks Nui with an elbow. That is naaassty.

That has opened up Rangi Nui's cut even more.
Nui takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.

The cut above Rangi Nui's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Trabowski lands a nice forearm strike.

Rangi Nui's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Rangi Nui's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
