Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jack Dawson (ranked 1184 p4p, 56 weight class) and Akamu Kalani (ranked 757 p4p, 14 weight class). Dawson comes to the cage accompanied by Titanic theme. Kalani is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Astrix - Deep Jungle Walk. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kalani lands with a right hand.
Kalani paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Dawson ducks straight into an uppercut from Kalani and tumbles to the canvas! It’s a flash knockdown though - Dawson manages to regain guard straight away.
Dawson is rocked!
It looks like Jack Dawson has been cut.
Kalani must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Dawson is looking for a triangle but Kalani pushes his legs off easily.

Dawson had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Kalani defends it easily.

Kalani is sitting in close to Dawson's body. Dawson has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Kalani is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Kalani is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Dawson.
