The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Viki misses with a jab, cross combination.
A nice side step and Golovkin releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.
Golovkin has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.
Viki pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Golovkin let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land.
Viki throws out a loose jab but Golovkin uses good head movement to avoid it.
Viki misses with a hook
and Golovkin counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

It looks like Miki Viki has been cut.
Golovkin throws a sloppy body shot
and Viki counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Golovkin thuds his right hand into Viki's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
No joy there for Viki, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Golovkin takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Viki misses with a low kick.

and Golovkin connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

and Golovkin counters with a nice uppercut.

Viki is rocked!
Golovkin lunges in with a left hook that violently twists Viki head around and knocks him out cold! Golovkin hops onto the cage and yells out at the top of his lungs - Yeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaah! They're showing the replay on the big screens now; that was nasty! I hope one of the photographers got a good shot of it.
