The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barkley throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Johnny Barkley seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

MpJuice has Barkley up against the cage in a clinch.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for MpJuice.
MpJuice definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
A hook to the body from Barkley.
MpJuice swings wildly with an uppercut but Barkley uses good head movement to avoid it.
MpJuice blocking some punches.
MpJuice softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage.
Barkley swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Barkley wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but MpJuice has him pressed against the cage.

Barkley's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Barkley moves into range and connects with a jab.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Barkley throws a body punch but MpJuice moves out of range.
Barkley throws a poor cross that misses
and MpJuice counters with a stiff right hand.
Barkley lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but MpJuice circles away quickly and effectively.
MpJuice seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.
Barkley misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Barkley throws a right and a left that both miss.
Barkley tests MpJuice's chin there with a solid looking shot.
MpJuice staying out of range there.
MpJuice waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Barkley.
Barkley misses with an uppercut
and MpJuice cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
MpJuice on the wrong end of a nice hook.
MpJuice slips under a jab.
MpJuice ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Barkley moves away.
Barkley drops down looking to force a counter takedown but MpJuice defends it well.

MpJuice moves into the clinch successfully.
Barkley wants to break the clinch but can't.

Barkley manages to break the clinch.
Barkley gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Barkley throws a lazy right hand but MpJuice sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
MpJuice is looking to counter with a shot to the body.
MpJuice tries to clinch
and Barkley counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
No joy there for Barkley, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
As Barkley looks to move away, MpJuice throws a big counter combo but Barkley just gets out of the way.
Jab, jab by MpJuice - just one landing.
Barkley walks straight into a right hand from MpJuice - that's dropped him! MpJuice jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Barkley from any more punishment! Barkley complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
