The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sainty ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Sainty tries to land a leg kick but Kansalainen saw it coming and moves away.
Kansalainen moves out of range as Sainty throws a body kick.
Tapani Kansalainen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kansalainen ducks under a wild hook from Sainty.
Sainty blocks a low kick nicely.
Sainty wants to clinch up but Kansalainen keeps it at a distance.

and Sainty counters with a nice double leg into half guard.

Sainty is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Sainty is trying to control. Kansalainen wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Kansalainen is in a tricky position. We've heard reports from his gym mates at Gangsterdamage that he's been drilling escapes, so let's see if he can get back to his feet.
Kansalainen pushes Sainty off looking to stand but Sainty dives back in and keeps control.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Kansalainen has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Sainty is on him like a limpet, forcing Kansalainen back against the cage.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Kansalainen creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Sainty jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Kansalainen walks away with a smile on his face. Sainty gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

We've been informed that Sainty has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Sainty bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Kansalainen connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Sainty pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.

and Sainty counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Kansalainen pushes Sainty off looking to stand but Sainty dives back in and keeps control.
Kansalainen trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.

Kansalainen has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Sainty is proving hard to escape from.
Kansalainen stands up and waves to Sainty to follow him.
Kansalainen thumps Sainty with a low kick.
Sainty shoots and misses
and Kansalainen counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Sainty uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Kansalainen.
Kansalainen lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Kansalainen throws a right hand that Sainty ducks under and follows up with a left that Sainty also avoids with ease.
Kansalainen throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
and Kansalainen counters with a massive uppercut that badly hurts Sainty! He's just covering up as Kansalainen starts to tee off till the referee steps in and stops the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:21 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Tapani Kansalainen!
Tapani Kansalainen spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
