Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Raheem Nazir (ranked 20828 p4p, 138 weight class) and Petr Kotrc (ranked 20833 p4p, 150 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nazir keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Nazir feinted with a counter takedown.

Nazir fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Kotrc sprawls well initially but Nazir persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Nazir thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.

Nazir is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Kotrc sees it coming and defends easily.

Kotrc is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Nazir is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Kotrc's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Kotrc's back!

Nazir changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Kotrc looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
The referee tells the fighters to keep busy.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Kotrc can't do much from the bottom here.
Kotrc is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Nazir swings around for an armbar but Kotrc sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Nazir's guard.
