The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tucker throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped

and Refe counters with a takedown into side control.
Refe looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!

Refe tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Refe has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Tucker wants to get back to his feet but Refe drags him back down.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Refe is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Tucker has escaped the position, nice work there.
Tucker is trying to buck Refe off.

Tucker pushes Refe away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Refe gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

and Refe counters with a nice double leg into side control. Tucker won't be happy with that.

Refe has hold of Tucker's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Tucker tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Refe cranks the arm and Tucker screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Tucker, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
