Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Oskar Schmidt (ranked 3720 p4p, 327 weight class) and Yessir Kranicks (ranked 5229 p4p, 417 weight class). Schmidt comes to the cage accompanied by Sweet Dreams. Yessir Kranicks will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kranicks tries to keep at a distance but Schmidt has taken the fight into the clinch.
Schmidt is working for takedown but Kranicks is calmly controlling the position for now.
Kranicks drops down looking for an ankle pick but Schmidt pulls his leg out and moves away.
Schmidt has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Schmidt shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Kranicks pinned against the cage. Kranicks gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Kranicks stuffs the takedown attempt from Schmidt. Schmidt gets slowly back to his feet.
