Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lyle Alzado (ranked 610 p4p, 88 weight class) and Naoise Durnin (ranked 617 p4p, 90 weight class). Durnin has chosen I'm Shipping Up To Boston by The Dropkick Murphy's as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Lyle Alzado has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Steve Smith and William Peck.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alzado misses with a straight right.
Durnin is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Alzado ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Durnin moves away.
A decent looking cross lands there for Durnin.
Alzado with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Durnin to score with a decent uppercut.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
