PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight kickboxing rules bout between John Locke (ranked 2045 p4p, 256 weight class) and Pekko Wannanen (ranked 3706 p4p, 405 weight class). Locke kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is What Makes a Good Man. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Locke fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Wannanen has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

That was a close second round but I would say that John Locke will probably get the nod.
