The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice straight punches there by Meyer. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Meyer.
Meyer shoots in looking for a takedown. Marbleforge tries to sprawl out of it but Meyer keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Marbleforge manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Horrible takedown attempt by Marbleforge or perhaps it was just good defense by Meyer, which made it look bad.
Meyer definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Meyer dips down and scores with a jab to the body.

No joy there for Meyer, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Marbleforge unleashes a big counter combination but Meyer bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.

Meyer rushes Marbleforge and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Marbleforge is trying to pull guard but Meyer has him pressed against the cage.
Oscar Meyer has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bunnur Marbleforge.

Meyer has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Marbleforge can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Marbleforge drops back looking for a leg! Meyer is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Meyer manages to kick Marbleforge off! Marbleforge jumps back into Meyer's guard.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Meyer is striking off his back. Marbleforge thinks nothing of it though and passes easily into half guard.
Marbleforge throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.

Marbleforge is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Meyer is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
