Sturridge comes into the arena with Gimmie The Loot - By: The Notorious BIG blaring out of the sound system. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Penn Jr misses with a hook. Sturridge ducked under it nicely.
Penn Jr throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Sturridge throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Penn Jr sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Sturridge pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Sturridge connects with a leg kick. Penn Jr looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Sturridge lands a head shot.
Penn Jr pulls out of a head kick attempt.
A lazy left from Sturridge finds it's target.
Sturridge connects with a single shot there.
A big right from Sturridge misses.
Penn Jr takes a shot to the body in his stride.

Sturridge drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Sturridge lands a nice forearm strike.
Penn Jr avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Sturridge.

Sturridge in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows.

Sturridge has hold of Penn Jr's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Penn Jr seems comfortable defending it but Sturridge has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Penn Jr is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Penn Jr is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Sturridge couldn't care less - he's delighted!
