Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 32 - 18 - 2, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jerry Haze!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Robert Twigg and Chris Downing.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hernando looks to score with a jab to the body but Haze is just out of range.
Braxton Hernando seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Haze lands an overhand right.
Hernando fails with the takedown.
Haze is looking for the big counter here.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Haze misses with a looping left.

and Haze cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Haze scores with a nice right hand.
Hernando will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
It seemed like Haze was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Haze goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Hernando connects with a good right hand that stumbles Haze. Haze circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Hernando throws a leg kick but Haze sees it coming and checks it nicely.

Haze closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Haze grinds an elbow into Hernando's temple.
Haze creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Hernando sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
A control attempt from Hernando but he's now mounted!
Hernando is bucking up trying to escape but Haze cracks him with another couple of good strikes.

Haze breaks from Hernando's wrist control and lands an elbow.

Haze lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.

Oh Hernando is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Hernando is bucking up trying to escape but Haze cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
Haze looking to finish here with some ground and pound. He lands one big shot that has Hernando covering up... and two more big strikes land, forcing the referee to step in and put and end to proceedings! This fight is all over!
