The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Felber has his takedown stuffed
and Lopette counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Lopette feints and then cracks Felber's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Felber down.
Lopette connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Lopette digs a good hook to Felber's body.
Felber with a lazy takedown attempt
and Lopette connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Felber misses with a right hand
and Lopette counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Lopette is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.
An inside leg kick lands from Lopette.
Felber fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Lopette was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
Bornas Lopette has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Nias Felber.

and Lopette counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Felber dives in for a single leg takedown but Lopette sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Bornas Lopette seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

and Lopette makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

and Felber takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Lopette scores with a kick to the midsection.

Lopette throws a head kick that looked like it stung.

Felber is rocked!
Lopette scoring well with a low kick there.
Felber is still on wobbly legs! Can Lopette finish him?
Felber sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Lopette throws a monster overhand right that drops Felber! Lopette follows up with more strikes from mount and the fight is all over!
