Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Miguel Harper (ranked 2234 p4p, 233 weight class) and Capt Sully (ranked 4579 p4p, 386 weight class). Capt Sully will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Harper shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Harper showed some decent athleticism there.

Sully felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.

Sully stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Sully wants it to stay on the feet.
Sully now looks to counter with a shot at the body.
Sully closes the distance but Harper moves to the side

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Sully takes a big shot to the dome and his eyes have rolled back in his head! Harper's killer instinct has kicked in as he finishes the fight with more strikes. Impressive finish.
