Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Alexey Alexandrov (ranked 1407 p4p, 198 weight class) and Sheikh Amun Ghosh (ranked 1583 p4p, 217 weight class). Ghosh has chosen Allah Gets Funky as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alexandrov tries to clinch but Ghosh moves out of range.

Ghosh has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

Alexandrov shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Alexandrov showed some decent athleticism there.

Ghosh has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Alexandrov is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Ghosh.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Alexandrov is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Ghosh has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Alexandrov is looking to defend but Ghosh has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Alexandrov! Ghosh pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Alexandrov taps out and this one is all over!
