Coming up we have a light heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Nate Baker Jr (ranked 3090 p4p, 378 weight class) and Nieky Holzken (ranked 6390 p4p, 560 weight class). Nieky Holzken will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Leandro Rodrigues and Daniel Cesar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Baker Jr slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Baker Jr just misses with a punch to the body.
Holzken wants to counter with a clinch but Baker Jr pushes him away.
Baker Jr does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Baker Jr throws a hook but Holzken blocks it.
Baker Jr misses with an attempted mid kick.
Holzken keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Holzken moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Baker Jr throws a head kick that misses.
Baker Jr misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Holzken takes one to the side of the head.
It looks like Nieky Holzken has been cut.
Baker Jr moves into range and connects with a jab.
Baker Jr misses with a looping left.
A slow jab from Baker Jr misses its intended target.
Holzken takes the fight into the clinch.

Baker Jr tries to land knees in the clinch but Holzken avoids the damage to the body.

Holzken throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.

Holzken is pushing Baker Jr up against the ropes, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.
Holzken tries a knee to the head but Baker Jr blocks it.
Holzken on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Baker Jr is trying to break free.

Holzken lands with a light punch inside.
Baker Jr escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Holzken walks forward, straight into a front kick from Baker Jr.
Holzken lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Baker Jr at a distance.
Holzken circles away from the clinch attempt.
Holzken works Baker Jr's body with a nice hook.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Holzken dodges the punch combination from Baker Jr.
Baker Jr looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Holzken closes the distance and catches Baker Jr with a lead hook that drops him to the canvas! Baker Jr is clearly dazed and struggling here! 3,4,5,6,7 and Baker Jr is up to his feet but the referee has called it off! Baker Jr is still far too wobbly and he's not going to allow the fight to continue! Holzken takes it!

After winning the bout, Nieky Holzken thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
