The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Knox shoots in for a takedown but Westwood shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Knox tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Westwood decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Knox's guard.
Knox looking to hit a scissor sweep but Westwood is one step ahead there.
Westwood working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Knox keeping moving, preventing Westwood from controlling successfully.
Knox wants to sweep but no luck.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Westwood postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Westwood pushing down on Knox's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.
Westwood wants to pass the guard but Knox is defending well.
Westwood winds up and cracks Knox with a swinging punch to the side of the head.

Westwood moves into full mount! Knox won't be happy about that!
Knox is in a horrible position here. Westwood smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Westwood looking to finish Knox with some ground and pound. This is bad for Knox!

Westwood lands a nice shot to the head.
Knox looks winded!
Westwood loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Knox scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Westwood land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Westwood stands and salutes the crowd.
