Coming up we have a heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Balthazar Theron (ranked 6400 p4p, 476 weight class) and Skrat Nu (ranked 5187 p4p, 445 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Theron might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Living on a Prayer. Skrat Nu has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Balthazar Theron's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nu misses with a jab, cross combination.

Nu walks into a straight right hand and goes down! Theron rushes to a neutral corner so the count doesn't get delayed but Nu has made it back to his feet on 5. He's OK so we're back to the action.

It looks like Skrat Nu has been cut.

Nu clinches with his opponent.
Theron tries a knee to the head but Nu blocks it.
Theron looks to throw an elbow but misses.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Nu stalling in the clinch but Theron improves position.
Nu misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Nu tries to break the clinch but Theron is controlling the position.
Theron definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Theron tries a knee to the head but Nu blocks it.

Theron digs a right hand underneath Nu's ribcage. Nu let out a lung full of air as it connected.

Theron digs a right hand into Nu's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Nu's gas tank.
Nu avoids the elbow strike from Theron, against the ropes.
Nu tries to break the clinch but Theron is controlling the position.
Nu's coach down at ELITE Island Gym - 19 Elite Coaches was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Nu's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.

With the fighters up against the ropes, Theron throws an elbow but misses.

Theron keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Nu's efforts to push away.

Nu is trying to force a seperation but Theron has the dominant position.

Theron is leaning against Nu and scores with a nice uppercut to the body.
Theron throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Nu blocks it with crossed arms.

Theron drops Nu on his ass with a big knee up the middle! Nu bounces straight back to his feet before the referee can even start a count. We'll have to wait a moment to see if that actually hurt him or not, as he takes the standing 8 count.

Theron throws a head kick but Nu moves out of range.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

With the two fighters working up against the ropes, Theron just misses with a elbow thrown towards Nu's brow.
Nu is trying to break the clinch but Theron has him pressed against the ropes.

Theron drops Nu with a big knee! Will Nu beat the count? Yep, he's up already and we're only at 3... let's see if he's just faking it or if he's actually OK.
Nu tries to get into range but Theron steps to the side and lands a beautiful hook that drops Nu! He's faceplanted into the mat, ass in the air... he's out cold! That's an image he won't want to show his grandkids when he gets older! Theron scores the big KO victory!
