Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Grumpy Bastard (ranked 2299 p4p, 224 weight class) and Adam Mohammed (ranked 3486 p4p, 324 weight class). On his way into the ring it seems that Grumpy Bastard has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Grumpy Bastard seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Grumpy Bastard!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
9 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Adam Mohammed!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Alan Glass and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Bastard changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Mohammed tries to avoid it but Bastard manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Mohammed to the ground. Mohammed escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Mohammed with the counter takedown but Bastard avoids it easily.
Bastard with a lazy takedown attempt
and Mohammed counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Bastard!
Bastard is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Mohammed asserts his dominance and retains side control.

Bastard's coaches at have been working on his defensive grappling in preparation for this fight so let's see if he can get out of this tricky position.
Bastard avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Mohammed.
Mohammed throwing strikes but missing, from side control.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Bastard is trying to control Mohammed's posture but Mohammed avoids it.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Bastard sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
Mohammed winds up and cracks Bastard with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Mohammed looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
Bastard avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Mohammed.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Mohammed lands a nice short elbow.
Bastard is rocked!
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Mohammed connects with a nice short shot to Bastard's temple.
Oh Bastard is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Mohammed is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Mohammed lands a massive shot from half guard that has rocked Bastard! More strikes land and this one is all over! Mohammed jumps to his feet and is applauded loudly by the crowd!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:35 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Adam Mohammed!
After the big win, Adam Mohammed made sure to do all the important stuff like thanking his sponsors CAGED CROW Clothings 50$ and telling the interviewer how much he loves him.
