Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 25 - 27 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Hank Holmes!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 45 - 24 - 2, fighting out of London, Brandon Hale!
The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Wagner Zegers and Radbod Blank.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Holmes looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Hale throws a nice looking combination but Holmes bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Holmes misses with a double jab.

Hale shoots in and bounces Holmes off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Hale stands and steps away. Holmes gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Good work by Holmes as he checks the leg kick.
Holmes misses with an uppercut.
Holmes misses with a few strikes there.
Holmes works Hale's body with a nice hook.
Holmes throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Hale walks into a left hand.

It looks like Brandon Hale has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Holmes looks to land a right hand but Hale moved out of range.
Hale fails to land with a series of punches.
Hale throws a series of strikes that have Holmes backpedaling.

Holmes shoots in for a takedown and gets it.

Hale makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work!

That's one minute gone in the round.
Holmes takes one to the chin there.
Holmes lands with a hook. Hale tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Hale takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Holmes misses with a body punch
and Hale counters with a stiff right hand.
Holmes shoots in for a takedown but Hale shows good takedown defense.

Hale throws a left that rocks Holmes and follows with a right that sends him tumbling to the canvas! Hale dives into side control, looking to finish! Can Holmes regain composure!

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Holmes is looking to regain half guard here but Hale keeps moving and retains side control.
Oh Holmes is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

Holmes seems to have got his legs back now.
Holmes is in a bad spot here and he knows it... just holding on for now.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Holmes wants to control but Hale postures up.
I've been told that Hale has been drilling his wrestling of late, which has already helped him take this fight to the mat. Let's see how much of an impact it has on the outcome of the ground game.

Hale throws a big overhand right that connects, sending Holmes tumbling to the canvas!
Holmes seems to have improved his submission grappling technique since last time we saw him. Let's see if he can pull off a submission.
Holmes wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
Hale postures up from his opponent's guard, before exploding into some vicious ground and pound! Holmes covers up, he's hurt! Hale keeps throwing the strikes, glancing at the referee... Will he stop it?? One more big shot from Hale and the ref steps in to end the fight! Hale can't hide his delight as he celebrates with his corner.

Brandon Hale spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
