The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kreme looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.

Kreme decides to return to a standing position.
Kreme tries to close the distance and clinch up but Skjold swats him away and circles back towards the center.
A slapping leg kick lands for Skjold.
Ragnar Skjold seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Kreme drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Kreme lands a couple of decent looking shots.
Skjold is looking to stand up but Kreme isn't so interested in that idea.

Kreme drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Kreme jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Skjold striking off his back but it's not causing Kreme any problems.
Kreme won't allow Skjold to get back to his feet.
Kreme working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Kreme trying to control the position from guard on top but Skjold is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Skjold not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Kreme passes easily into side control. Nice work.

Kreme has hold of Skjold's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Skjold tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Kreme cranks the arm and Skjold screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Skjold, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
