Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Francesco Lo Bianco (ranked 2007 p4p, 285 weight class) and Mwenye Kwadwo (ranked 2045 p4p, 289 weight class). Francesco Lo Bianco has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kwadwo digs a good body shot into Lo Bianco's ribs.
Kwadwo keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Lo Bianco tries for a takedown but Kwadwo circles away easily
letting Kwadwo counter with a right hand.

Kwadwo has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Lo Bianco is landing a low percentage of strikes.

Lo Bianco closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Kwadwo quickly recovers to half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Lo Bianco working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Kwadwo wants to improve his position but Lo Bianco is controlling well.

Kwadwo stays in close to Lo Bianco's body and controls the position.
Lo Bianco has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Lo Bianco wants to sweep here but Kwadwo controlling him for the moment.
Kwadwo wants to control from the top but Lo Bianco keeps moving.
Lo Bianco bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Kwadwo's guard.

Lo Bianco lands a strong strike to the head of Kwadwo. That's dazed him! Lo Bianco looking to finish here. Kwadwo is waving his arms around trying to block but he's hurt badly - Lo Bianco lands more strikes and the referee steps in to end the fight!
