The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Souza throws a push kick but Boma slaps the foot to one side.
A decent looking cross lands there for Boma.
Oscar Boma seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Souza looks to land a combination but Boma avoids it well.
A good leg kick by Boma.

Souza has his takedown stuffed
and Souza takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Boma dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Souza. That did some damage!
Souza chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Boma can pounce on him.
Boma scores with a spinning back kick!
Souza misses with a takedown attempt
and Boma counters with a straight right hand.

Souza is rocked!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Boma works Souza's body with a nice hook.
Souza is still on wobbly legs! Can Boma finish him?
Souza loses concentration momentarily and Boma pounces with a three punch combo! Right, left, right! Souza crashes face first to the mat, out cold! Boma finishes this one with a fantastically precise combo! Great stuff.
