Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ross Devereux (ranked 2017 p4p, 251 weight class) and Max Handle (ranked 2797 p4p, 323 weight class). Handle has chosen Right On as his entrance music. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 25 - 12 - 2, fighting out of Amsterdam, Ross Devereux!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 28 - 37 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Max Handle!
The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Yves DeLean and William Peck.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Devereux pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Handle feints a counter leg kick.
Handle throws a head kick but Devereux moves out of range.
Handle slips under a jab from Devereux.
Devereux throws a combination. Handle tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Devereux checks the leg kick.
Devereux cracks Handle with an open hand slap.

Handle has taken the fight to the clinch.

Devereux gets control of Handle's arms and successfully pulls guard. Devereux will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
Devereux wants to sweep but no luck.
Devereux is working hard here to advance position.
Handle is stalling in the full guard.
Devereux controlling the position.
Devereux is trying to control the position but Handle postures up.
Handle is looking to work some ground and pound but Devereux has wrist control.
Devereux seems to have improved his submission grappling technique since last time we saw him. Let's see if he can pull off a submission.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Handle accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Devereux looking to hit a scissor sweep but Handle is one step ahead there.
Devereux keeping moving, preventing Handle from controlling successfully.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Handle postures up in Devereux's guard and throws a big left but Devereux blocks it.
Handle trying to control but Devereux is working from the bottom.

Devereux has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Handle should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Devereux has tightened it up now! Handle should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!

Ross Devereux spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
