Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Anthony Romeo (ranked 775 p4p, 105 weight class) and Piet Smit (ranked 1048 p4p, 148 weight class). Smit is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Baby Got Back. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A swing and a miss from Romeo.
Smit now looks to counter with a shot at the body.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Smit is trying to drag Romeo to the mat but Romeo just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
A short right from Romeo on the inside.
Romeo digs a right hand into Smit's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Smit's gas tank.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Smit wants a takedown but no success here.

Romeo breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Romeo swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Romeo looks to score with a jab to the body but Smit is just out of range.

Romeo throws a hook but Smit blocks it.
Romeo connects with the punch.

It looks like Piet Smit has been cut.
Smit ducks right into an uppercut from Romeo.
Smit uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Romeo.
Romeo scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.

Smit is rocked!
Romeo misses with a hook. Smit ducked under it nicely.
Smit flicks out a counter leg kick but Romeo steps away.
Romeo drops a shoulder and throws an uppercut that cracks Smit right on the button. Smit goes down! Romeo follows him to the mat and finishes the job with more strikes! Romeo gets the win via TKO!
