PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jason Knight (ranked 2386 p4p, 326 weight class) and Demario Johnson (ranked 3372 p4p, 419 weight class). Johnson has chosen Somebodies Gonna Get It as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johnson misses with a jab to the body
and Knight counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Johnson throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Johnson thows a left - swing and a miss!
Knight loads up on a big right hand but Johnson slips the punch.
Johnson takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Demario Johnson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Johnson fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Knight manages to avoid it.

Oooooh!!! Johnson has knocked Knight down with a huge combo! Johnson steps away and waves a wobbly Knight back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

It looks like Jason Knight has been cut.
Knight definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Johnson's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Knight connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Johnson scrambles back to his feet.
A looping hook to the body misses from Johnson. Knight does a little dance to reset his feet.
Knight appears to be looking for a big counter.

and Knight connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Johnson takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Knight tests Johnson's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Johnson fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Knight.

Johnson looks to land a left hand but Knight moved out of range nicely.
Knight takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Knight lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Johnson throws a poor cross that misses
and Knight counters with a left to the body.

Knight scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Johnson doesn't seem bothered though.

Knight throws a lazy right hand but Johnson sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Knight displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

As Johnson backs away, Knight returns fire with a leg kick that just misses.

Johnson throws a wild body kick that Knight sees coming a mile off.

and Johnson takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Knight is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Johnson lands with a straight right. Knight didn't see that one coming.

Johnson is still on wobbly legs! Can Knight finish him?

Johnson looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Nice defenses there by Knight.
Knight comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Knight circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Johnson to the canvas! Johnson doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Knight keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!
