Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sam Jetstrean (ranked 2470 p4p, 32 weight class) and Ramses Fiddlesticks (ranked 6673 p4p, 86 weight class). Ramses Fiddlesticks told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fiddlesticks shoots in looking for a takedown but Jetstrean manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Fiddlesticks's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Jetstrean has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Holding Cell in the buildup to the fight.
No luck for Fiddlesticks with that takedown attempt.
Fiddlesticks throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Jetstrean.
Fiddlesticks misses with a takedown
letting Jetstrean counter with a right hand.
Sam Jetstrean has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ramses Fiddlesticks.

Fiddlesticks throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Jetstrean tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Fiddlesticks is in Jetstrean's guard.
Jetstrean pulls Fiddlesticks in close to prevent any damage.
Jetstrean keeping moving, preventing Fiddlesticks from controlling successfully.
Jetstrean wants to stand and escape but Fiddlesticks is having none of it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Jetstrean seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.

Jetstrean looking to hit a scissor sweep but Fiddlesticks is one step ahead there.

Fiddlesticks tries to free his leg and advance position but Jetstrean is retaining full guard.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Fiddlesticks gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Jetstrean counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Fiddlesticks thinking.

Fiddlesticks misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Jetstrean misses with a jab, cross combination.
Fiddlesticks fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Jetstrean avoids it really well and circles away.

Jetstrean misses with a head kick.
Fiddlesticks with the counter takedown but Jetstrean avoids it easily.
Fiddlesticks takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

Jetstrean lands a left and a right that send Fiddlesticks crashing to the mat, dazed. Jetstrean thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

It looks like Ramses Fiddlesticks has been cut.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
A looping hook to the body misses from Jetstrean. Fiddlesticks does a little dance to reset his feet.
Fiddlesticks shoots in for a takedown but Jetstrean shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Fiddlesticks on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Fiddlesticks throws a sloppy head kick and Jetstrean moves out of range easily.
Jetstrean connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Sam Jetstrean is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Jetstrean throws a head kick that half lands.
Ramses Fiddlesticks seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Jetstrean lands a big head kick that sends Fiddlesticks tumbling to the mat! Jetstrean takes a step backwards and waves Fiddlesticks back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Fiddlesticks is rocked!
Jetstrean circles away before darting back in with a big straight right hand. It connects beautifully and sends Fiddlesticks tumbling to the canvas! He's out cold! Jetstrean wins by KO!

Sam Jetstrean bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
Ramses Fiddlesticks spoke after the fight, saying 'Um, this is no surprise. I don't know why I fight. I don't even like fighting.'.
