The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vasilevskiy has managed to clinch.
Vasilevskiy trying to control the position but instead, Rigano has worked for underhooks and has pushed Vasilevskiy into the ropes.
Rigano gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.
Vasilevskiy is pulling down on Rigano's head to control his posture.
Vasilevskiy utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Vasilevskiy wants to stand but Rigano is controlling the position.
Rigano has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Vasilevskiy is adopting a defensive guard.
Vasilevskiy trying to keep a closed guard but Rigano is proving a slippery customer.
