Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Denzel Arcidiacono (ranked 6252 p4p, 0 weight class) and Guli Gunawan (ranked 3626 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gunawan shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Arcidiacono sprawls well. Arcidiacono wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Gunawan gets slowly back to his feet.

Arcidiacono closes the distance and clinches.
Gunawan is trying to pull guard but Arcidiacono turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
Gunawan jumps guard but Arcidiacono stands there with Gunawan around his waist. Gunawan gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Denzel Arcidiacono has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Guli Gunawan.

Arcidiacono escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Gunawan gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Gunawan stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Arcidiacono swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Arcidiacono will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Gunawan decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Arcidiacono, up you get!

Gunawan keeps control of Arcidiacono as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

Gunawan wants to take the fight to the mat but Arcidiacono manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
Arcidiacono really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Gunawan jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Arcidiacono walks away with a smile on his face. Gunawan gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Gunawan darts in looking for a takedown but Arcidiacono gets double underhooks and turns Gunawan into the cage.

Arcidiacono looked to counter with a high kick but didn't commit.
Gunawan looks winded!

Arcidiacono moves into the clinch.
Gunawan tries to pull guard but Arcidiacono holds him up against the cage and eventually Gunawan drops back down to his feet.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
The fighters are working up against the cage. Arcidiacono manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Arcidiacono breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Arcidiacono shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Gunawan as he avoids it easily.
Gunawan dives in and grabs Arcidiacono's left leg, looking for a takedown. Arcidiacono pushes down on Gunawan's head and hops out.

A head kick from Arcidiacono lands but Gunawan takes it in his stride.

Gunawan shoots in and drives through. Arcidiacono sprawls well.
Arcidiacono closes this distance looking for a takedown but Gunawan circles away.

Arcidiacono darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.

Gunawan is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Arcidiacono's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Arcidiacono's back!
