PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight kickboxing rules bout between Tommy Lee (ranked 19675 p4p, 616 weight class) and Juan Fonseca (ranked 3272 p4p, 367 weight class). Lee kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Kickstart My Heart. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Edson Gomes and Emerson Jorge.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lee misses with a wild body shot.
Fonseca dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Lee. That did some damage!
Lee fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Fonseca manages to avoid it.
Fonseca was about to counter that last move with a leg kick but changes his mind.
Fonseca throws an overhand right that lands on Lee's shoulder, as Lee tries to avoid the shot.
Fonseca avoids a kick to the body.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Fonseca! But no joy.
Fonseca misses with a jab, cross combination.
Lee chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Fonseca can pounce on him.
Lee bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Fonseca's head.

It looks like Juan Fonseca has been cut.
A punch combination from Fonseca misses.
Lee lands a jab to Fonseca's midsection.
Fonseca has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Lee finds it's way round the side to connect with Fonseca's head.
Juan Fonseca seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Lee swings for the body but Fonseca moves out of range.

Lee closes the distance and clinches.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Lee lands a nice shot to the body.

Fonseca pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Fonseca keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Fonseca takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Fonseca bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Lee ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Fonseca swings away with a leg kick that misses.
Fonseca misses with a jab, cross combination.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Lee throws a sloppy head kick and Fonseca moves out of range easily.
Lee misses with a body kick.
Lee is looking to score with low kicks.
Lee lands with a kick to the temple. Fonseca shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Fonseca cracks Lee with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the ropes.
Nice body punch from Lee.
Lee connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Fonseca's hands.
Lee moves into range and connects with a jab.

Fonseca is rocked!
Fonseca throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Lee sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Fonseca is still on wobbly legs! Can Lee finish him?
Decent striking displayed by Lee there.
Lee plants his feet and throws a 3 punch combo. Miss, miss, boom! The third punch, a big right hook, connects right on the temple and drops Fonseca to the mat, unconscious! This fight is all over! Fonseca just couldn't keep out of the way of the whole flurry of punches!
