Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 wins, 2 losses and 0 draws, fighting out of New York, Leon Osman!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Lombardi, Russell Pearce and Franklyn Lucas.



The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Osman has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.

Schooley forces Osman back against the ropes and clinches.
Osman jumps guard but Schooley turns him against the ropes and keeps the fight standing.
Osman jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Schooley walks away with a smile on his face. Osman gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Osman tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Osman is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Schooley is aware though and is defending well.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Schooley throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.
I was talking to Schooley's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.
Schooley has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Osman avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

It looks like Leon Osman has been cut.
Schooley throws an elbow but it misses.

That was a close round but I would say that Ellis Schooley will probably get the nod.

Osman tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Schooley defends well and Osman ends up having to push Schooley into the ropes where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Schooley is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Osman can do to turn this around?

Osman throws a hook to the side of Schooley's head but Schooley sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
The fight stays on the outside here - Schooley looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Osman accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Schooley controls Osman momentarily but Osman frees himself.
Osman postures up in Schooley's guard and throws a big left but Schooley blocks it.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Osman had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Schooley defends it easily.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Schooley shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Osman pinned against the ropes. Osman gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
And Osman tries to counter it with a takedown but Schooley pushes his down on his head and steps out.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close second round but I would say that Ellis Schooley will probably get the nod.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. And we move into the final round!

Osman is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
