Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Julio Cruzeiro (ranked 7031 p4p, 619 weight class) and Jack King (ranked 4813 p4p, 511 weight class). Cruzeiro comes into the arena with Linval Thompson - Jah Jah The Conqueror blaring out of the sound system. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cruzeiro getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
King looks for a takedown but Cruzeiro sprawls well.
Cruzeiro bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.

King closes the distance looking to clinch
and Cruzeiro counters with a lovely straight right hand!
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Cruzeiro ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Cruzeiro's corner calls for a 1-2. Cruzeiro obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
King has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Cruzeiro.
King takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Cruzeiro feints and then cracks King's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow King down.
Cruzeiro connects with a solid leg kick.
Cruzeiro scores with the left hand. King knows he should have avoided that one.

Cruzeiro scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Cruzeiro cracks King with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Cruzeiro creates a bit of space for himself and rocks King with a big uppercut! King tries to clinch up but Cruzeiro pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples King to the mat! King covers up and Cruzeiro unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
