The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Reid throws a lazy right hand but Lopette sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Hamish Reid seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Jab, jab by Reid - just one landing.
Reid tries to clinch but Lopette moves out of range.
Lopette blocks a jab.
Lopette half committed to a counter leg kick.
Lopette takes one on the button.

Reid gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Lopette goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Reid.
Reid stalling in the clinch but Lopette improves position.
Reid scores with a nice hook to the head.

Reid pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Reid cracks Lopette with a right hand to the side of the head.
Lopette looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Reid is looking to clinch.
Nice shot lands for Reid.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Lopette wants to stay close but Reid steps back to make room for something. Lopette seems frozen to the spot and bam! huge swing of the leg from Reid and Lopette drops like he has been shot! A huge head kick and it's all over!
