Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sam Jetstrean (ranked 1915 p4p, 23 weight class) and Sam Wilson (ranked 2367 p4p, 32 weight class). Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 16 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Sam Jetstrean!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 28 - 15 - 0, fighting out of New York, Sam Wilson!
The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, Eddie Farnsworth and Franklyn Lucas.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jetstrean misses with a low kick.
Wilson fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Wilson throws a right and a left that both miss.
Wilson changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Jetstrean tries to avoid it but Wilson manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Jetstrean to the ground. Jetstrean escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
An inside leg kick from Jetstrean misses.
Jetstrean drops his hands momentarily and Wilson takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Wilson fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Jetstrean connects with a leg kick. Wilson looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Nice straight punches there by Jetstrean. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Jetstrean.


It looks like Sam Wilson has been cut.
Wilson throws a body shot but no joy.
Wilson blocks a head kick by Jetstrean.

Wilson is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Jetstrean's half guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Wilson not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Jetstrean misses with a two punch combination.
Wilson tries to land a leg kick but Jetstrean saw it coming and moves away.
Wilson throws a right and a left that Jetstrean avoids nicely.
Wilson tries for a takedown but Jetstrean sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
An attempted straight right counter from Jetstrean misses the target.

Jetstrean rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Wilson moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Wilson shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Jetstrean is trying to defend but Wilson finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Wilson is looking to advance position but Jetstrean won't allow it.
Wilson is controlling the pace.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Wilson throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.

Wilson slows the pace down in half guard.
Jetstrean looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Jetstrean tries to roll over but Wilson keeps him under control.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!


Wilson looks for the body kick but Jetstrean saw that one coming.
No joy there for Jetstrean, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Jetstrean misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Wilson shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Wilson misses with a few strikes there.
Jetstrean is looking to counter punch.
Wilson is looking to clinch but Jetstrean is avoiding it.

and Wilson counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
Wilson fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Wilson misses with a hook from the clinch.

Jetstrean tries to land knees in the clinch but Wilson avoids the damage to the body.

Wilson has Jetstrean up against the cage in a clinch.
Wilson avoids the elbow strike from Jetstrean, against the cage.
Wilson pushes Jetstrean back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Wilson lands a hook that snaps the head of Jetstrean backwards.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Nice body punch from Wilson - that landed with a thud.

Jetstrean manages to break the clinch.

Wilson shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Jetstrean's guard.
Wilson slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Wilson pushes down on Jetstrean's leg and manages to get into half guard.

Wilson is working for a kimura but Jetstrean is defending it quite comfortably.

Jetstrean is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Wilson's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Wilson's back!

Wilson wants to get back to his feet.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Wilson is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.
Jetstrean has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of Wilson's body.
Wilson needs to remain patient if he's going to get out of this sticky situation.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
I would not like to be Wilson right now.

A close second round but Sam Wilson will probably get the nod - 10:9.

Jetstrean throws a sloppy head kick and Wilson moves out of range easily.
Wilson throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.

Jetstrean doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.

Jetstrean wants to break free but Wilson has control.

Wilson drags the fight down to the ground.
Jetstrean stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Wilson swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Wilson wants to stand up but Jetstrean is controlling him.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Jetstrean stands up from guard. Let's bang!
Wilson throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Jetstrean on the side of the head.

Jetstrean throws a lazy right hand but Wilson sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Jetstrean scores with a crisp jab that stopped Wilson in his tracks.
A nice combination there by Jetstrean.
Sam Jetstrean is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Jetstrean stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Jetstrean wants it to stay on the feet.
Jetstrean lifts his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick.

Wilson looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
Wilson slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Wilson throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.
Wilson trying to control the action but Jetstrean is working from the bottom.

Jetstrean is trying to control Wilson's posture but Wilson avoids it.

Wilson is trying to get an arm triangle but Jetstrean is defending well.

Wilson works to advance to full mount. Jetstrean defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Jetstrean tries to hold on but Wilson postures up.
Sam Wilson is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
Wilson controlling the position easily from mount.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Sam Wilson comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Wilson winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
