Douglas is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Bob Marley - Three Little Birds. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thorn moves out of range of the strikes.
Thorn misses with a low kick as Douglas jumps back.
Douglas pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Douglas walks into a stiff left hand from Thorn.
Nice uppercut lands for Thorn. That snapped Douglas's head back.
A nice inside leg kick there by Douglas. That's going to slow Thorn down.
A nice leg kick lands there from Thorn.
Thorn rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Thorn throws a hook but Douglas avoids it easily.
Douglas checks a low kick from Thorn.

Douglas waves his right hand out in front of him, looking to distract Thorn. Oh, he's unloaded a beast of a left hand - it worked! He's dropped Thorn to the canvas! Can he finish him!?

It looks like Damien Thorn has been cut.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Douglas is looking to advance position but Thorn has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount!

Douglas tries to lock up and control but Thorn gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Thorn lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.

It looks like Samuel Douglas has been cut.

That has opened up Samuel Douglas's cut even more.
Thorn knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Douglas on the ground.

Samuel Douglas's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Samuel Douglas's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
