Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Super Meat Boy (ranked 284 p4p, 9 weight class) and Mark Kerr (ranked 652 p4p, 21 weight class). The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 15 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Super Meat Boy!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 7 - 0, fighting out of London, Mark Kerr!
The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Colin Fotheringham and Sam Margolis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kerr misses with a hook
and Meat Boy counters with a straight right hand.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Kerr.
Meat Boy defending well as Kerr loads up on a big left hand.
Meat Boy lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Kerr at a distance.
Meat Boy looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Kerr misses with a hook
and Meat Boy counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Kerr lands with a right hand.
Meat Boy keeps Kerr at a distance using the push kick.
Meat Boy misses with a low kick.
Kerr with the counter takedown but Meat Boy avoids it easily.
Kerr misses with a lunging right hand
and Meat Boy cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Meat Boy ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Meat Boy looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Meat Boy slips under a jab from Kerr.
Kerr throws a shot to the body.
Meat Boy takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Meat Boy thuds his shin into the meat of Kerr's side.
Kerr looks winded!
Meat Boy fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Kerr has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Kerr staying out of range there.
Kerr wants to counter the offense by Meat Boy and move into the clinch position.
An inside leg kick lands from Meat Boy.
Mark Kerr seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Meat Boy moves out of range as Kerr strikes.

Meat Boy jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Kerr steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Meat Boy.
Kerr misses with an uppercut. Meat Boy saw that one coming.
And Meat Boy counters with a quick kick to the body but Kerr blocks it.
Meat Boy lands with a thumping leg kick.
Kerr uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Meat Boy has time to react.
Meat Boy ducks under a wild hook from Kerr.
Kerr might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Meat Boy tries to land a body kick

and Kerr counters with a nice double leg into side control. Meat Boy won't be happy with that.
Kerr wants to lay and pray for a moment but Meat Boy keeps working.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Kerr with the ground and pound but Meat Boy regains half guard under the barage of strikes.
Kerr seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Meat Boy does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Meat Boy is looking to improve his position.
Meat Boy blocking the ground and pound attempt from Kerr.
Kerr landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
Kerr is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
Meat Boy is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Kerr throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Meat Boy regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Kerr.
Kerr trying to control but Meat Boy is working from the bottom.
Kerr pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Meat Boy is keeping the position for now.
Kerr looking to sit in guard and control but Meat Boy gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Kerr looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Kerr looking to control.
Kerr looking to hit a scissor sweep but Meat Boy is one step ahead there.
Meat Boy has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Kerr holds on and takes a little breather.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Kerr trying to control the position.
Kerr wants to sweep here but Meat Boy controlling him for the moment.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Super Meat Boy will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.


Meat Boy throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Kerr moves forwards but Meat Boy connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Meat Boy takes one to the side of the head.
Meat Boy gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Meat Boy tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Meat Boy pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Kerr is defended easily by Meat Boy.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Kerr misses with a body shot
and Meat Boy cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Meat Boy uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Kerr.
Kerr is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Meat Boy.
Meat Boy quickly followed up with a counter body kick but doesn't connect.
Meat Boy darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Meat Boy throws a jab but it's blocked by Kerr.
Kerr rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
letting Meat Boy counter with a right hand.
Meat Boy walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Kerr checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Meat Boy connects with a leg kick. Kerr looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Kerr shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Meat Boy but Meat Boy pushes him off and we're back to square one.
It looked like Meat Boy wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Kerr throws a poor cross that misses
enabling Meat Boy to counter with a crisp jab.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Kerr misses with a jab, cross combination.
Kerr checks the leg kick.
Kerr tries to counter by closing the distance.
Meat Boy looks to throw the jab but Kerr is out of range.
Kerr is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch.
Super Meat Boy is winning the standup battle so far.
The fighters circling - Kerr throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
A left lands for Kerr.
Kerr steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Meat Boy. That one must have hurt.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Kerr slips a jab from Meat Boy.
Kerr works the jab nicely.
Kerr misses with a shot to the body
and Meat Boy counters with a nice low kick that buckles Kerr's knee momentarily.
Kerr is breathing heavily.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Meat Boy circles away from the clinch attempt.
Good shot there by Meat Boy.
Meat Boy tries to land a leg kick but Kerr saw it coming and moves away.
Meat Boy is looking to land body kicks.

Meat Boy sends Kerr crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Meat Boy is motioning to the referee to let Kerr up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!


Kerr is rocked!


It looks like Mark Kerr has been cut.
Meat Boy is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Kerr can do to turn this around?
Kerr shoots in and drives through. Meat Boy sprawls well.
Meat Boy is looking to counter with a shot to the body.
Super Meat Boy has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mark Kerr.
Meat Boy goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Meat Boy connects with an inside leg kick.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Kerr stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Meat Boy.

Kerr throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Meat Boy waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Kerr.
Kerr throws a right and a left that Meat Boy avoids nicely.
Kerr cracks Meat Boy with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Kerr uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Meat Boy has time to react.
Meat Boy throws a head kick but Kerr moves out of range.
Kerr connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Meat Boy's hands.
Kerr throws a hook to the side of Meat Boy's head but Meat Boy sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Meat Boy lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Meat Boy throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Super Meat Boy dominated that second round.
The cut man is working on Mark Kerr's cut.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!


Kerr throws out a powerful jab.
Kerr connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
A decent looking cross lands there for Meat Boy.
Meat Boy scores with a nice body kick.
Meat Boy throws a head kick but Kerr moves out of range.
Kerr looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Kerr throws a lazy uppercut
and Meat Boy counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Kerr takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Meat Boy lands an uppercut out of nowhere! Kerr falls backwards - clearly groggy! Meat Boy dives in and finishes the fight with more strikes for a TKO finish!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:51 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Super Meat Boy!
Super Meat Boy decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
