Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Misha Collins (ranked 215 p4p, 28 weight class) and Brody Kavanagh (ranked 106 p4p, 18 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 23 - 17 - 1, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Misha Collins!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 25 - 11 - 2, fighting out of Los Angeles, Brody Kavanagh!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Colin Fotheringham and Steven Brown.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Good standup being displayed there by Kavanagh as he connects with a hook.
A big right from Kavanagh misses.
Kavanagh swings away with a body shot that misses
and Collins cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Brody Kavanagh seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Collins scores with a nice head shot.
Kavanagh lunges at Collins with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Collins's hand.
Collins throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Kavanagh has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

Collins tries to counter with a takedown but Kavanagh is quick to defend against it.

Collins goes for an armbar but Kavanagh turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Kavanagh.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Kavanagh got a little sloppy there for a moment and Collins has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Kavanagh has managed to get both his arms back between Collins's legs - danger averted.

That's time! Collins's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.


That kick from Kavanagh tenderised Collins's leg. Collins is trying to keep his angry face on.
Collins cracks Kavanagh with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

Kavanagh lands a big uppercut and Collins crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Collins looks OK. Kavanagh waves Collins back to his feet!

It looks like Misha Collins has been cut.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Oh Collins is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Collins shoots in for a double leg but Kavanagh sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Collins seems to have got his legs back now.
Kavanagh gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Collins.

Collins ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Kavanagh moves away.
and Kavanagh counters with a massive uppercut that badly hurts Collins! He's just covering up as Kavanagh starts to tee off till the referee steps in and stops the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:14 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Brody Kavanagh!
