Slater comes to the cage accompanied by Stop What Ya Doin. AC Slater could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Nuke Laloosh's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Slater avoids the body shot from Laloosh.
A quick step to the side and Slater tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
Laloosh fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Slater avoids it really well and circles away.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Laloosh is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Laloosh is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Slater defends it well.

Laloosh is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Laloosh is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
