Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Tyson Kidd (ranked 6785 p4p, 541 weight class) and Pablo Escobar Sir (ranked 6468 p4p, 530 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Sir throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Kidd's waist but Kidd gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Sir off to one side.

Kidd fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Sir, pushing him back against the cage.

Kidd tries to move into range but Sir moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.

That was a close round but I would say that Tyson Kidd will probably get the nod.

Kidd closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Sir's guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Sir has a closed guard, preventing Kidd from standing up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
