Newton kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Guillotine. Daley comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Dropkick Murphy's - Shipping Up To Boston kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Daley throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Newton is looking to counter punch.
Newton takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Newton takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.

It looks like Conor Daley has been cut.
Newton is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Daley.
Daley takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Daley, right into the meat.
Eddie Newton seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Daley fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Newton manages to avoid it.
