Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Okino Naruhiko (ranked 5110 p4p, 0 weight class) and Third Fok (ranked 5343 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Yves DeLean and Steve Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Naruhiko takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.

Naruhiko is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Fok's half guard.
Fok really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Naruhiko. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Fok is looking to control Naruhiko's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Fok avoid being mounted?

Fok wants to improve his position but Naruhiko is controlling well.
Naruhiko is nestled in close to Fok, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

It looks like Third Fok has been cut.
Naruhiko winds up and cracks Fok with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Fok is refusing to be controlled, as Naruhiko sits in half guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Naruhiko has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Naruhiko looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Fok has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Naruhiko is working away from the top position though.
Naruhiko lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Fok on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
Naruhiko seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Fok does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Naruhiko looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Fok with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Fok wants to get back to full guard.

That has opened up Third Fok's cut even more.
Naruhiko lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.


The cut above Third Fok's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Naruhiko connects with a nice short shot to Fok's temple.


Third Fok's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Third Fok's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Okino Naruhiko!
