The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Cecil Peabody and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Raf misses with a straight right.
Osman feints the counter takedown.
Osman tries to bum rush Raf with a series of wild strikes but Raf uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Raf misses with a head kick.
Raf has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Osman throws an overhand right that lands on Raf's shoulder, as Raf tries to avoid the shot.
A little feinted left hand from Raf on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Raf throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Raf stuffs the takedown.
Osman shoots in and bounces Raf off the ropes to secure the takedown into guard.
Osman wants to pass the guard but Raf is keeping the position.
Osman wants to control from the top but Raf keeps moving.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Raf wants to stand up but Osman is controlling him.
Osman sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Raf's guard.

Osman throws a big elbow that misses, also allowing Raf to regain full guard.
Osman throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Raf works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Raf avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Osman is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
It looks like Shotty Raf has been cut.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Osman is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
Raf can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Osman controls the pace.
Raf utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

Osman takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Osman thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Osman slips a nice elbow through Raf's hands, connecting with Raf's forehead.

Osman wants to take a breather but Raf is having none of it.
