Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Nigel Nobody (ranked 1593 p4p, 73 weight class) and Ashton Knuckles (ranked 2096 p4p, 99 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nobody throws a body shot but no joy.
Knuckles misses with a shot to the body
and Nobody connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Knuckles tries to clinch up.
Knuckles tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Knuckles goes for a double leg but Nobody avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Nobody continues to drive forward.
Ashton Knuckles seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Knuckles doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Nobody counters with a stiff right hand.
Knuckles shoots in looking for a takedown but Nobody manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Knuckles's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Nigel Nobody has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ashton Knuckles.
Nobody scores with a one two! Knuckles had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Knuckles fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Nobody is out of range.
Knuckles lands with a straight right. Nobody didn't see that one coming.
Nobody lands a nice looking kick to the body. Knuckles takes a step back to recover.
Knuckles takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Nobody checks the leg kick.
We've been informed that Knuckles has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Nice uppercut lands for Nobody. That snapped Knuckles's head back.
Knuckles misses with a low kick.
Nobody stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Nobody scores with a sloppy right hand. Knuckles should have avoided that one.
Knuckles lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.

Nobody rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Knuckles moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Knuckles misses with a lunging right hand
and Nobody counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Nobody lands a jab.
Knuckles seems to be squinting his left eye. Perhaps he got a poke in that previous exchange. Nobody shows no mercy and swarms him with a barage of strikes! Knuckles is backing up but Nobody catches him with a final right hook that drops him! Knuckles covers up and the referee steps in to end the fight! Nobody Jumps to his feet and flashes his guns to the crowd. Oh yeah, baby! How'd you like them apples?!

In his post fight interview, Nigel Nobody started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
